Once I actually get to Belgium, I'll start posting. At least now I know that it's not going to take months to process my visa. My BAEF fellowship is the fast pass to expat bliss!
In the meantime, to entice you to return, here is a photo of the beautiful little "medieval"-looking town in which I will be living. The great market (Grote Markt) comes alive with elaborate vendor stands and people jostling against each other every Sunday. A photo of one of the most beautiful Brabant Gothic towers in the world--Sint-Romboutstoren--is soon to come.
